Michael Thor is a well known chef and co-owner of Whiskey Kitchen, a popular restaurant in Raleigh, NC. Thor was paralyzed from a C2 spinal break in 2015. Life critical therapy was lacking in NC, and the family’s solution was to open NextStep Paralysis Recovery Center, a 501c3 very unique in providing activity based therapy for the many forgotten living with paralysis.
